BackSpin Records has moved from Burnet Road to a larger location on Airport BLVD. We have tripled the size of our store and doubled the quantity of records. We continue to focus on quality new and used records at affordable prices. Here is how our store breaks down:
Vinyl
We stock all these genres and more: Rock (Indie Rock, Classic Rock, Psych, Prog, Metal, 80s and Alt), Hip-Hop (Old School, Golden Era, Indie, Underground, and Commercial Rap & RNB) Dance (House, Techno, Electro, Freestyle, Disco, Italo, House, Breaks), Jazz, Funk, Jazz-Funk, Soul, R&B, Blues, Electronic, 20th Century Composers/Experimental, Classical, Soundtracks, Lounge, Exotica, Comedy, Spoken Word, and Country/Western. We carry a large selection of new vinyl as well.
While we do not like to pigeon-hole ourselves as a speciality store - we do have some of the best classic hip-hop and dance vinyl you are likely to find in Texas!
Lastly, we always try and provide: FRESH VINYL DAILY.
CD's
We buy, sell and trade CDs also, same genres as above.

Other Services
Record/CD/DVD Buying - We'll buy one item or your entire collection if we believe we can use it in our store. We strive to make you fair cash offers for your music and are very generous with giving trade-in credit as well.
Record Cleaning - we can scrub off your dusty gems and remove all debris with our VPI record cleaning machine. Price starts at $1 per record (negotiable depending on quantity!).
